The Croatian star overtook Vinicius Jr. and Benzema when he set up his eighth goal of the campaign in the last clash with Athletic. His 76th-minute corner was turned in by Benzema to net the second goal of the game and the assist means Modric has made six in LaLiga, one in the Champions League and one in the Club World Cup.

The Whites’ midfielder heads a list of 13 madridistas who have provided assists to date. Behind him, are Vinicius Jr. and Benzema, on 7, while the group is completed by Odriozola and Bale (6), MarceloKroos and Asensio (5), Lucas Vázquez (4), Reguilón and Carvajal (2), Iscoand Brahim (1).
